ABOUT DACHA
da·cha /ˈdäCHə/
noun
a country house or cottage in Russia, typically used as a second or vacation home.
DACHA embraces the Russian concept of dacha life/vacation living and translates it into a distinctly California experience. Our belief at DACHA is that one’s home, particularly in the temperate climate of Southern California, should be a retreat - a place of beauty, enjoyment, creativity and inspiration. We create for our clients an environment that is sophisticated and interesting without sacrificing ease and comfort.
DACHA offers an elevated assortment of unique home furnishings - art & objects, furniture, tabletop goods, soft accessories - that integrates vintage and globally sourced pieces with natural elements and the work of California-based artists to create an eclectic, layered, soulful brand of California luxury.
ABOUT LAUREN
Soulful interiors. Spaces with character. Collected, gathered, layered. Lauren Gregory, founder and owner of DACHA, creates engaging, elevated spaces that reflect the character and lifestyle of her clients. “I love visiting someone’s home and looking at their books, art, objects, old family photos. All of these pieces tell a story about the history and interests of those who live there.”
A native Californian, Lauren embraces the casual luxury that is specific to Southern California. Her love for beautiful spaces began at a young age, growing up in her mother’s flower shop in Marin County, CA. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in American Literature & Culture, Lauren moved to New York where she worked for famed luxury retailer Bergdorf Goodman. She returned to Los Angeles as director of Kelly Wearstler’s flagship boutique in West Hollywood before opening DACHA Manhattan Beach in 2015 and DACHA West Hollywood in 2019. Lauren divides time between her two stores and resides with her family in Los Angeles.
GO HOME
Home should be a place of enjoyment, inspiration, relaxation, and quality time spent with family and friends. Home should welcome and delight. At home, one should be happy and live well. Go home.
